He went to an eye clinic today because he is having a cataract operation soon.    To renew his driver’s license, it is required to have his eyesight of 0.7 in both eyes.    So, he decided to undergo the operation.

Prime Minister Sinzo Abe has been rocked by a scandal related to a school operator Moritomo Gakuen recently.   There were some other suspected cronyism scandals such as the Kake Gakuen scandal and the Supercomputer venture company’s corporate tax fraud’s scandal.   These scandals are “もり”“かけ”“スパ”scandals!・・・ もり,かけ,スパ means  buckwheat noodles(もりそば、かけそば) and spaghetti! They are “carbohydrate(炭水化物)”scandals!
